You can choose to still sell a product when it is out of stock (backorder-style) or stop sales automatically — this is the 'Continue selling when out of stock' setting.

Locations — warehouses and stores

A location represents a physical place where inventory is stocked — a warehouse, retail store, or even a supplier's fulfillment center.

Multi-location inventory lets you see exactly how much stock sits at each place, which matters once you run more than one warehouse or a retail counter alongside online sales.

Real-life example: Locations are like separate godowns for the same business — Delhi warehouse has 50 units, Mumbai warehouse has 30 units, and the Admin shows both without mixing them up.

Inventory reports and adjustments

You can manually adjust stock counts (for damaged goods, recounts, or new shipments) directly from the product page or a bulk inventory editor.
