  • Bleaching powder: Ca(OCl)₂
  • Plaster of Paris: CaSO₄·½H₂O

Indicators

  • Litmus: red in acid, blue in base
  • Phenolphthalein: colourless in acid, pink in base
  • Methyl orange: red in acid, yellow in base
