Determiners are words placed before nouns to show quantity, possession, or specificity. Class 7 grammar covers articles (a, an, the), demonstratives (this, that, these, those), and quantifiers (some, any, much, many, few, little) in NCERT Honeycomb units.
Articles and Demonstratives
- Definite article 'the' for specific nouns: the Ganga, the sun
- Indefinite 'a/an' for one non-specific thing
- This/that (singular), these/those (plural) point to nouns
Quantifiers
- Countable: many, few, a few, several, a number of
- Uncountable: much, little, a little, a great deal of
- Some/any in offers and questions; each/every for individuals in a group
