What is 22 Karat gold?
22K gold is 91.6% pure — the standard for Indian jewellery. 24K is 99.9% pure (coins/bars), and 18K is 75% pure (lighter daily-wear pieces).
How are Pune rates calculated?
We combine COMEX gold (USD/oz) with the USD/INR exchange rate, convert to per-gram, apply karat purity, a India retail premium, and a small local city adjustment.
How often are rates updated?
