22K gold is 91.6% pure. 24K is 99.9% pure (coins/bars). Many international markets also emphasise 18K and 14K for jewellery.
How are Paris rates calculated?
We combine COMEX gold (USD/oz) with the USD/EUR exchange rate, convert to per-gram, apply karat purity, a France retail premium, and a small local city adjustment.
How often are rates updated?
Rates refresh about every 30 minutes. Historical data uses daily COMEX closes and reference forex rates.
